DESCRIPTION

SOL Glycerol monostearate 40 Self emulsifying is an ester derived from esterification of glycerol with edible fatty acids.

SOL Glycerol Monostearate-40 is produced by esterifying glycerine with palm oil. It appears as white flakes or powder with a melting range of 54 to 60 degrees Celsius and is USP compliant.

It carries a minimum monoglyceride content of 40 percent, along with a soap content of up to 7 percent, which contributes to its self-emulsifying character.

It is supplied in 25 kg paper bags with inner lining and carries a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacturing, when stored in a cool, dry place between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius.
